Job summary

Veritas Education is working with a welcoming nursery in Lancaster to recruit a Level 2 EYFS Practitioner (SEN Support) from September 2026 until April 2027, Monday to Friday 9:00am – 3:00pm. The role provides one-to-one support for a non-verbal child with ASD who is transitioning to a specialist SEN school, focusing on communication, engagement and emotional regulation in a nurturing setting.

• Experience supporting children with ASD.
• Calm, patient and able to build positive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Encourage communication, engagement and social interaction.
• Implement strategies for emotional regulation and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with nursery staff, SEN professionals and parents.
