Job summary

Veritas Education Recruitment is seeking a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Practitioner for a well-established nursery setting in the UK. The role offers both full-time and part-time hours, with a warm, supportive team and opportunities for development.

You will work closely with colleagues and families to create engaging learning experiences, supporting children's development in a nurturing environment in line with EYFS standards.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare.
• Previous nursery or Early Years experience.
• Genuine passion for working with children.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to providing high-quality childcare and education.

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning and development through play-based activities.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Observe and monitor children's progress in line with the EYFS framework.
• Encourage children's confidence, independence, and social development.
• Support daily routines, including mealtimes, outdoor play, and care needs.
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding and wellbeing at all times.
