Job summary

Veritas Education Recruitment is assisting a well-established nursery to recruit an Early Years Practitioner (Level 2 or Level 3). The role can be full-time or part-time, within a caring team dedicated to a safe, stimulating environment where children learn through play.

You will support children's development alongside colleagues and families, observing EYFS standards and building warm relationships. The post emphasises safeguarding and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare.
• Previous nursery or Early Years experience.
• Genuine passion for working with children.

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning and development through play-based activities
• Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Observe and monitor children's progress in line with the EYFS framework
• Encourage children's confidence, independence, and social development
• Support daily routines, including mealtimes, outdoor play, and care needs
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding and wellbeing at all times
