Job summary

Junior Adventures Group – Burton upon Trent (DE13) is seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Leader to join our Breakfast & After School Club, working every Thursday and Friday.

You must hold a recognised Level 3 EYFS qualification and be passionate about nurturing young children. The role offers 8.5 hours per week at £14.00 per hour + holiday pay, with a consistent Thursday/Friday pattern and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Required Level 3 Early Years / EYFS qualification.
• Experience with young children and in an early years environment.
• Commitment to safeguarding and children's wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support engaging activities for children.
• Create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment.
• Support children's learning, development and wellbeing.
• Plan activities that reflect children's interests and developmental needs.
• Follow the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Supervise children and promote positive behaviour.
• Support daily routines, including refreshments and collection.
• Complete relevant records and follow company procedures.
• Help maintain a high standard of care throughout the sessions.
