Job summary

Junior Adventures Group in Wokingham is seeking an Early Years Playworker for our Breakfast and After School Club at Floreat Montague Primary School. You will provide high-quality care for Nursery and Reception children, plan engaging activities and support learning through play.

This part-time, term-time role requires a Level 3 EYFS qualification, DBS checks, and a friendly, safe environment. 22.5 hours per week with potential extra hours during holidays.

Qualifications

• Must hold a recognised Level 3 Early Years / EYFS childcare qualification.
• Demonstrated passion for working with young children.
• Care, patience, and energy to engage nursery and reception aged children.

Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality care for Nursery and Reception-aged children.
• Planning and delivering fun, age-appropriate activities.
• Supporting children's learning and independence through play.
• Creating a safe, nurturing environment.
• Supporting social, emotional and communication development.
• Observing and supporting individual needs per EYFS guidance.
• Building positive relationships with children, parents and staff.
• Supporting daily routines and transitions.
• Following safeguarding, health and safety procedures.
