Job summary

Junior Adventures Group is seeking an enthusiastic Level 3 EYFS Playworker/Activity Leader for St George’s Junior School in Weybridge. The role involves supervising children, leading engaging activities, and creating a safe, happy environment after school hours.

The ideal candidate is passionate about working with children, qualified at Level 3 EYFS, energetic, and capable of building positive relationships in a team. Term-time hours apply with potential extra hours in holidays.

Qualifications

• Must hold a recognised UK Level 3 Early Years / EYFS qualification.
• Experience working with children in an after-school/club setting is desirable.
• Able to engage and lead children in active play and activities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support children during sessions.
• Lead and participate in fun, creative activities.
• Organise games, arts & crafts, sports and free play.
• Build positive relationships and support individual needs.
• Promote confidence, independence and safety at all times.
• Create a welcoming, inclusive environment and work as part of a team.
• Ensure children have a fun and positive experience every day.
