Job summary

Junior Adventures Group in Weybridge is seeking an EYFS Level 3 qualified Playworker / Activity Leader for St George’s Junior School. The role involves supervising children after school, delivering engaging activities, and creating a safe, happy environment for afternoons in term time.

The position is term-time, 2:15pm–6:30pm, 21.25 hours per week; there is potential for additional holiday club hours. DBS check and two references are required as part of the hiring process.

Qualifications

• Must hold a recognised UK Level 3 EYFS qualification to be considered.
• Experience supporting and supervising children in an education setting is desirable.
• Energetic, caring and enthusiastic with a love for working with children.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support children throughout the session.
• Lead and participate in fun, creative activities.
• Organise games, arts, crafts, sports and free play.
• Build positive relationships and encourage independence.
• Contribute to a welcoming, inclusive environment.
• Maintain a safe and positive setting at all times.
• Work as part of a friendly, supportive team.
