Job summary

Oasis Academy Hobmoor in Birmingham is seeking an EYFS Assistant Principal to lead teaching and learning while remaining a classroom practitioner. You will support inclusive practices and help meet diverse pupil needs, including speech and language support.

You will join a diverse academy within Oasis Community Learning, contributing to policy development and ensuring EHCPs are effectively implemented for students. This role starts 1st January 2027 and is a permanent position.

Qualifications

• Must be a classroom practitioner with a passion for pedagogy.
• Experience supporting speech and language needs.
• Ability to coach and inspire teaching and learning for EYFS pupils.

We'll provide that time to understand the role and make / implement the changes you feel are necessary but we want that person who has passion to be in the classroom (as first and foremost we're teachers) and that desire to drive inclusivity and support our community.You'll work in a very diverse academy, we have numerous languages spoken and there's work to support with speech and language alongside varying cognition and learning needs.
