Job summary

Oasis Academy Brislington is seeking a Lead Teaching Assistant for the One Hub to support students with SEMH needs on a term-time basis. You will work with pastoral staff to promote wellbeing, attendance and attainment, providing care and challenge in a supportive environment.

No teaching qualification is required; experience in education and a strong team ethic are essential. The role is based at Oasis Brislington, with term-time hours and a fixed-term contract.

• Experience of working within an education establishment.

Responsibilities

• Provide pastoral support to students via the One Hub provision.
• Promote positive attendance and punctuality through the Academy Attendance strategy.
• Support vulnerable students and families with access to multi‑agency support.
• Work closely with pastoral staff to monitor attainment and wellbeing.
• Contribute to safeguarding and safeguarding protocols as required.

The One Hub is our onsite alternative provision hub to support students with SEMH needs. You will work in close collaboration with other pastoral staff working holistically and preventatively to ensure learner well-being and attainment by providing care, support and challenge for the students and families within the One Hub.
