Job summary

Boots Opticians in Oxford is seeking a Retail Assistant to be the first and last point of contact for customers. On the shop floor you'll listen to needs and help them find the right eyewear or service, from greeting customers to pre-screening activities for eye tests.

You'll develop your knowledge through our Step Into Optics training program, with workshop and on-the-job learning. The role includes dispensing glasses and contact lenses, aftercare, repairs, and keeping the shop floor standards

Responsibilities

• Ordering, dispensing and collection of glasses and contact lenses.
• Supporting with eye-tests and pre-screening activities.
• Providing aftercare support through repairs and adjustments.
• Completing operational and administrative tasks associated with dispensing prescriptions.
• Maintaining shop floor standards.
