Job summary

The Boots Opticians team in-store is seeking a Retail Assistant to greet customers, listen to their needs and help them find the right eyewear and services. You’ll be part of a friendly shopfloor team, involved in dispensing glasses and contact lenses, pre-screening eye tests, and aftercare in repairs and adjustments.

Qualifications

• Passion for customer care and desire to learn are essential.
• Experience in retail or a clinical setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ordering, dispensing and collection of glasses and contact lenses
• Supporting with eye-tests and pre-screening activities
• Providing aftercare support through repairs and adjustments
• Completing operational and administrative tasks associated with dispensing prescriptions
• Maintaining shop floor standards
