Job summary

Boots Opticians in-store team seeks a friendly Retail Assistant to greet customers, listen to needs, and help them find the right eyewear and services. You will be part of the friendly, product-focused environment, with training through the Step Into Optics programme to develop practical skills.

You will contribute to dispensing and pre-screening activities, and support eye-tests, repairs, and administrative tasks while maintaining high shop floor standards.

Responsibilities

• Ordering, dispensing and collection of glasses and contact lenses.
• Supporting with eye-tests and pre-screening activities.
• Providing aftercare support through repairs and adjustments.
• Completing operational and administrative tasks associated with dispensing prescriptions.
• Maintaining shop floor standards.
