Job summary

Boots Opticians in the United Kingdom is seeking a Retail Assistant to be the first and last point of contact for customers on the shop floor. You will listen to needs, build relationships and guide customers to the right eyewear solution, from greeting arrivals to assisting with eye-tests pre-screening and aftercare.

You will be based in-store, report to the store manager, and contribute to maintaining shop floor standards while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• Passion for customer care.
• Desire to learn.
• Worked in a retail or clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Ordering, dispensing and collection of glasses and contact lenses.
• Supporting with eye-tests and pre-screening activities.
• Providing aftercare support through repairs and adjustments.
• Completing operational and administrative tasks associated with dispensing prescriptions.
• Maintaining shop floor standards.
