Job summary

Boots Opticians in-store role as Optical Assistant is to be the first and last point of contact for customers, building great relationships by listening to their needs and helping them find the right eyewear solution.

You will be based in store, report to the store manager, and work on the shop floor, supporting eye-tests and pre-screening activities, dispensing glasses and contact lenses, and providing aftercare.

Responsibilities

• Order, dispense and collect glasses and contact lenses
• Support with eye-tests and pre-screening activities
• Provide aftercare support through repairs and adjustments
• Complete operational and administrative tasks associated with dispensing prescriptions
• Maintain shop floor standards
