Job summary

Atkore is seeking an experienced fabricator to support our Marco product range at West Bromwich. You will set and operate fabrication equipment, fabricate and inspect parts, and help maintain 5S standards in a busy manufacturing area.

The role offers 39 hours per week on a two-week rota, with two shifts, and pay of £12.90 per hour plus a 22% shift allowance. 25 days of annual leave, pension, life assurance and other benefits accompany a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

• Take responsibility for inspection of incoming and outgoing parts and materials.
• Keep production and quality related records up to date.
• Ensure good levels of 5S are maintained in the area.
• Be involved in continuous improvement processes driving through improvements in all aspects of the role.
• Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What you’ll do:

Hours of work will be 39 hours per week working 2-week rota shift pattern -

Shift 1 – Monday -Thursday 6am -2pm and Friday 6am-1pm

Shift 2 – Monday-Thursday 2pm-10pm and Friday 1pm-8pm

Hourly pay rate - £12.90 plus 22% shift allowance.
