Job summary

Neon Contracts Limited is advertising a Crosshead Extrusion Setter role. The candidate will set and operate extrusion machines, inspect materials and maintain records while upholding 5S and safety standards.

The position supports continuous improvement within the production team. We seek individuals with solid experience in profile and crosshead extrusion, able to work independently or as part of a team, and motivated to meet production targets safely and accurately.

• Experience with profile extrusion and crosshead extrusion processes.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate extrusion machines.
• Maintain tools and equipment.
• Inspect incoming materials to ensure quality.

• Follow Health & Safety procedures at all times.
• Carry out additional duties as required.

Crosshead Extrusion Setter

About the Company

Our client is a well-established and innovative manufacturer within the electrical, mechanical, and safety infrastructure sector. With a strong global presence and a reputation for high-quality engineered products, they supply conduit systems, cable management solutions, metal framing, and a wide range of specialist safety and installation components.

They are now expanding production within their product range and are seeking an experienced Crosshead Extrusion Setter to join their growing team.

What You'll Do:

• Report to a Team Leader and follow all allocated tasks and instructions
• Set and operate Extrusion machines
• Clean, maintain, and care for tools and equipment
• Inspect incoming and outgoing raw materials and components to maintain quality standards
• Keep production and quality records accurate and up to date
• Maintain excellent 5S housekeeping within your work area
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the department
• Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures at all times
• Expirience with Profile, tubes, conduit, coextruding.
• Carry out additional duties as required
