Job summary

MTrec Limited is recruiting for an Extrusion Operator to join a manufacturing team in Sunderland, UK. The role involves operating and overseeing extrusion machinery on continental shifts, ensuring product specifications are met and finished goods are prepared for despatch.

The ideal candidate will have experience setting up extrusion equipment, be a team player with strong communication, and be fully flexible to work the required shifts on site.

Responsibilities

• Set, operate, and oversee the running of specialist extrusion machinery and ancillary equipment.
• Monitor and maintain product specifications, carrying out online adjustments as required.
• Carry out checks relevant to production specifications.
• Prepare finished products for despatch.
• Accurately complete all production paperwork.
• Support the shift Team Leader and carry out all quality tests/measurements.
• Move pallets as required.
