Job summary

Workforce Recruitment and Training in West Bromwich is seeking experienced Extrusion Setters to join a busy manufacturing operation. You will have hands-on crosshead or co-extrusion experience, setting and running extrusion production lines, and a track record of monitoring production to maintain quality.

Permanent roles with days and rotating shifts are available. The package includes a 22% shift allowance on rotating shifts, a 25% allowance for permanent nights, and a choice of working

Qualifications

• This is a genuine Setter position requiring prior experience setting and running extrusion production lines.
• Experience running and monitoring production is highly valued.
• Blown film extrusion experience alone will not be suitable.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate extrusion production lines to required specifications.
• Monitor quality and throughput, adjusting settings as needed to maintain output.

Extrusion Setters for an established manufacturing business in

We're specifically looking for people with

hands-on Crosshead or Co-Extrusion experience, particularly those who have worked with

wire coating, hose or pipe extrusion.

There are

multiple shift options available, so whether you're looking for long 12-hour day shifts or a Monday–Friday rotating pattern with enhanced pay, there's an option to suit you.

PERMANENT DAYS – 6AM–6PM

Monday–Thursday

48 hours per week

£14.00+ per hour DOE

OR

PERMANENT DAYS – 7AM–7PM

Monday–Thursday

48 hours per week

£14.00+ per hour DOE

ROTATING SHIFTS

39 hours per week

Week 1:

Monday–Thursday: 6am–2pm

Friday: 6am–1pm

Week 2:

Monday–Thursday: 2pm–10pm

Friday: 1pm–8pm

£14.00+ per hour DOE

WHAT EXPERIENCE DO YOU NEED?

This is a genuine

Setter position, so you must have previous experience setting and running extrusion production lines.

We're particularly interested in candidates with experience in:
