Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Solutions is recruiting a Production Operative (Extrusion 2-10) for our Aflex site in Bradley Business Park, UK. This on-site role offers an hourly rate of £13.45 plus a 20% shift allowance and growth opportunities within a global Spirax Group business.

The position focuses on safe, efficient production, strict quality control, and adherence to EH&S policies. You will join a collaborative team and participate in training and development as you contribute to meeting

Qualifications

• Good numeracy and general education.
• Basic knowledge of computers.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to correct procedures.
• Ensure all documentation is completed at the correct time.
• Adhere to safe working practices at all times.
• Carry out safety checks and operate within training.
• Maintain 5S in the department.
• Transfer to other areas when requested.
• Ensure department machines are kept in good working order and report major maintenance issues.
• Comply with Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and related regulations.
• Ensure PPE is worn where applicable.
• Extrusion of PTFE and other materials.
• Manual handling, some heavy lifting.
