Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Solutions is seeking a Production Operative (Braid Rotating) to join our on-site team at Aflex, UK. The role involves winding braid material, braiding PTFE tube, and reeling hoses while ensuring procedures, quality controls, and safety standards are followed.

A positive, team-oriented mindset and basic numeracy are essential. You will work in a supportive environment with opportunities for skills development and career growth within the Spirax Group.

Qualifications

• Must have Production/Factory experience.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Quality oriented.
• Good level of numeracy and general education.
• Must be a team player.
• Basic computer skills, Maths and English.

Responsibilities

• Winding of braid material.
• Braiding of PTFE tube and/or other materials.
• Reeling up hose and/or other material.
• Adhere to correct procedures at all times.
• Ensure that all documentation is correct and completed on time.
• Ensure the correct quality controls and measurements are adhered to.
• Adhere to safe working practices at all times.
• Perform safety checks to ensure department integrity and operate per training.
• Transfer to other areas of the department/company as requested.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Environmental Policies.
• Keep department machines in good working condition.
• Ensure stored/used materials are fit for purpose.
• Work on any task/project assigned.
