Job summary

Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Solutions, part of Spirax Group, is hiring for a Production Operative (Braid Rotating) on-site in Bradley Business Park, UK. The role focuses on winding braiding of PTFE tubes, material handling and strict adherence to procedures and quality controls.

The successful candidate will join a team, learn quickly, and contribute to safe operations while meeting documentation and safety standards. Competitive pay and benefits are offered in a supportive workplace.

Qualifications

• Must have production/factory experience.
• Ability to learn quickly and work as part of a team.
• Good numeracy and basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Winding of braid material.
• Braiding of PTFE tube and/or other materials.
• Reeling up hose and other materials.
• Adhere to correct procedures at all times.
• Ensure all documentation is correct and completed on time.
• Ensure the correct quality controls and measurements are adhered to.
• Adhere to safe working practices at all times.
• Perform safety checks to ensure department integrity and operate per training.
• Transfer to other areas as requested.
• Ensure adherence to Company Health & Safety and Environmental Policies.
• Keep department machines in good working condition.
• Ensure materials stored/used are fit for purpose.
• Work on any task/project assigned.
