Job summary

RGB Recruitment is seeking a Scheme Manager to oversee daily operations at an Extra Care scheme in Filton, ensuring residents receive support to maintain independence. This permanent role offers £26,557 to £29,508 annually for 37 hours per week.

Responsibilities include tenancy plans, inductions, safety checks and coordinating repairs, while liaising with care providers and agencies to foster community and safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting older people or vulnerable adults.
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with partner agencies and advocating for customers.
• Understanding of safeguarding, risk management and independent living.
• Knowledge of housing management or welfare benefits (desirable).
• CIH qualification (desirable).
• Full UK Driving Licence advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operation of the Extra Care scheme.
• Support residents with tenancy plans and new resident inductions.
• Carry out health and safety, fire safety and risk management checks.
• Report repairs and ensure the scheme remains safe and well maintained.
• Work closely with care providers and external agencies.
• Organise activities and encourage social inclusion within the scheme.
• Support resident allocations and maintain accurate records.
• Promote safeguarding and maintain professional boundaries at all times.
