Job summary

Care Support in the United Kingdom seeks a competent senior coordinator to oversee the Extra Care Scheme. You will report to the Branch Registered Manager and lead a team to ensure roles, attendance and a re-abling, outcome-focused ethos are maintained.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of service provision in the care profession.
• Effective in all forms of communication.
• Experience in a customer-focused business.
• Confident in decision making.
• Working towards or holding a Health & Social Care diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in care/residential settings and associated qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Direct staff and ensure attendance requirements and role clarity.
• Maintain person-centred support plans and risk assessments.
• Carry out supervisions, spot checks, and risk reviews.
• Coordinate rotas, cover shifts, and on-call duties.
• Support training needs and maintain the training matrix.
• Liaise with Housing Providers and external agencies to coordinate care.
• Ensure records, safety, and compliance documentation are up to date.
