Job summary

Cera Care UK is seeking an Extra Care Scheme Manager to lead on-site care and support services around the clock. You will head a team of senior care workers and support staff, working with the Housing Provider, Local Authority, and health partners to deliver person-centred care promoting independence and wellbeing.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, quality improvement, and effective budget management, with responsibilities spanning staff development, KPI reporting, and safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Experience leading on-site care and support services.
• Ability to manage budgets and reports in line with contracts.
• Strong liaison with health and social care professionals.
• Ability to supervise medication administration per policies.
• Experience coaching and developing staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall scheme operations and ensure robust care plans.
• Liaise with social workers, health authorities, and housing provider teams.
• Oversee budget and financial reporting for the scheme.
• Lead investigations into complaints or safeguarding concerns.
• Develop staff through training, coaching, and performance reviews.
• Report KPIs to meet contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Housing Provider on events and activities for residents.
