We’re looking for an External Sales Executive with a strong Automation background to join their successful team, covering MK, NN, SG, and PE postcode areas OR OX, HP, WD, LU & AL.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Customer Engagement: Build strong business relationships through regular face-to-face meetings; you'll be out on the road where the action happens!
  • Account Management: Nurture and grow relationships with existing customers, ensuring top-level service and satisfaction.
  • New Business Development: Identify, pursue, and win new customers in your region to help expand the client base.
  • Solution Selling: Dive deep into customer needs and offer tailored automation solutions from a broad and trusted product portfolio.
  • Sales Strategy Execution: Bring the company’s sales strategy to life in your region.
  • Product Knowledge: Become an expert on our manufacturers and solutions — helping you cross-sell and upsell like a pro.
  • Sales Performance: Hit your monthly sales targets and share in the success with team bonuses.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the internal sales team to create a seamless customer experience.
  • Diary Management: Stay organized to maximize customer visits and sales activities.
  • Market Awareness: Keep your finger on the pulse of trends, competitors, and customer needs.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Keep management updated with pipeline updates and performance reports.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Previous experience in external sales, ideally in Automation or Electrical Distribution
  • Strong knowledge (or eagerness to learn) about automation products and solutions
  • A track record of smashing sales targets
  • A full UK driving license (essential for travel)
