Job summary

Hayley Dexis is seeking a full-time salesperson to lead external sales across South Yorkshire and Northeast Derbyshire. You will manage existing customers while actively pursuing new opportunities in engineering and manufacturing sectors.

Role requires driving sales with enthusiasm, autonomy, and the ability to cold-call across industries. A strong interest in our product range and engineering is essential, with a focus on delivering sales growth.

• Confident communicator and adept at cold calling across industries.
• Motivated with high autonomy and ability to deliver results.
• Willingness to learn product range and engineering basics.

Responsibilities

• Drive external sales across South Yorkshire and NE Derbyshire.

About the role

You’ll be our full-time salesperson focusing on external sales. Expect to be out on the road across the South Yorkshire and Northeast Derbyshire geographies. You’ll be dealing with existing customers but really targeting new opportunities and new customers.

Our existing customer base is very diverse from engineering companies to food as well defence and steelworks.

You’ll have prior experience in sales ideally with some cross over to what we do i.e. engineering or manufacturing background.

You’ll be driven and excited to make that sale! If you are comfortable approaching customers, knocking on doors and thrive off making the smallest to the largest sales we want to hear from you!

Drive, enthusiasm, perseverance and persistence are the core of what we are looking for in this role and so we will consider a range of different experience levels.

What We’re Looking For

• A good level of knowledge in the MRO space along with the products that we sell, although crossover experience will be considered.
• A high level of motivation and enthusiasm to drive sales.
• Good systems knowledge and IT skills
• Prior external sales experience.
• Confident communicator - not afraid to cold call cross industry.
• Thrive in a role where you are given a high level of autonomy and trusted to deliver and drive innovation.
• Strong interest in learning our product range / engineering.
