Job summary

Parmley Graham Ltd is recruiting for an External Sales Engineer to cover the North East region, based at Gateshead. This permanent, full-time role requires interfacing with customers, identifying opportunities, and driving them to closure.

You will leverage deep industrial automation knowledge, strong communication, and a results-driven approach to build relationships with clients and suppliers. A company car and pension are provided, along with laptop and mobile phone.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales within the automation/controls industry.
• Ability to interface with customers at all levels.
• Track record of identifying opportunities and closing sales.
• Good IT skills and willingness to stay up-to-date with technology.

External Sales Engineer

We are looking for talented and enthusiastic individuals with experience in a sales role, located at our Gateshead Branch. They will need the ability to interface with customers at all levels, have the skills to identify opportunities, and drive them to a successful conclusion.

Responsibilities include:

• Drawing on comprehensive technical knowledge to develop customer solutions and generate new business.
• Assist in generating accurate and competitive sales quotations to meet customer requirements.
• Work efficiently and independently to accomplish company sales objectives.
• Continue to study technical and product-related material to keep up-to-date with the latest technology.
• Help to build close relations with customers and suppliers.
