Job summary

Adecco Group UK & Ireland is seeking an Export Customer Service Coordinator in Loughborough to support a busy export desk. The role requires export experience and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.

Working Mon-Fri, 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm, you will manage orders, documentation and communications with customers globally. Base pay is £14.92 per hour, with duties spanning shipments, compliance, and process improvements to drive efficiency and cost savings.

Qualifications

• Must have export experience and knowledge of export procedures.
• Experience handling export documentation and shipping queries.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer orders and export shipments ensuring all required documentation is prepared accurately and on time.
• Provide exceptional support to customers and the Export Sales team, handling shipping queries, export documentation, hazardous goods paperwork, and administrative requests.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, export controls, and company policies, maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Carry out Third Party Management (TPM) activities and customer due diligence checks in line with current regulations.
• Track shipment deadlines and proactively resolve any issues that may impact delivery or customer satisfaction.
• Handle customer enquiries via phone and email, providing timely and professional solutions to complex shipping-related matters.
• Maintain accurate records, filing systems, and shipping documentation.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and identify opportunities for increased efficiency and cost savings.
