Job summary

Harmonic Finance is seeking an operations professional in London to keep stock moving. You will run day-to-day export logistics, coordinating with freight forwarders and customs brokers to ensure timely delivery.

Additionally, you’ll support procurement and assist with production scheduling and demand planning. The role suits someone two to three years into their operations career who is highly organised, meticulous and a strong communicator.

Qualifications

• Two to three years' experience in an operations, logistics, shipping or supply chain role.
• Exposure to export logistics and working with freight forwarders or customs brokers.
• Highly organised and meticulous, with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both with internal teams and external partners.
• Comfortable with admin-heavy work and able to get a lot done.
• Quick to learn, proactive and energetic.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate export shipments from booking through to delivery, keeping stock moving to customers and markets on time.
• Manage day-to-day relationships with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
• Prepare and manage export documentation, including customs certificates, ensuring paperwork is accurate and compliant.
• Support the procurement process, working with suppliers to keep orders on track.
• Provide support on production scheduling and demand planning, keeping stock and planning information up to date.
• Act as a clear point of contact for internal teams on shipments, stock availability and delivery timings.
• Keep on top of the admin side of operations, spotting issues early and flagging risks before they affect supply.
• Look for ways to simplify and automate manual tasks, including through the use of AI tools.
