Zusammenfassung

Manifest Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Ocean Freight Export Clerk to join our Manchester operation on a hybrid basis. You will manage Ocean Export shipments end-to-end, covering both FCL and LCL, coordinating with customers, shipping lines and overseas agents to ensure on-time departures.

The role requires strong customer service skills, UK export knowledge and attention to documentation, with hybrid working 3 days in the office and 2 from home. Salary up to £35,000 DOE.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 2 years' Ocean Freight Export experience.
• Strong experience managing Ocean Export shipments from start to finish.
• Good knowledge of FCL and LCL Export operations.
• Experience handling Ocean Export documentation.
• Understanding of UK Export customs procedures.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Managing Ocean Export shipments from booking through to final departure.
• Handling both FCL and LCL Export movements.
• Arranging bookings with shipping lines and co-loaders.
• Coordinating collections and transport from customer premises through to port.
• Preparing and processing export documentation, including Bills of Lading and Shipping Instructions.
• Liaising with customers, shipping lines, hauliers and overseas agents throughout the shipment lifecycle.
• Monitoring shipments, providing customer updates and resolving operational issues.
