Job summary

Hales Group Ltd are partnering with a leading medical industry manufacturer to recruit a detail-oriented Logistics Co-ordinator for the UK Logistics team near Eye, Suffolk. The role focuses on coordinating export shipments and delivering excellent customer service in a busy environment.

Reporting to the Logistics Team Leader, you will support daily operations, manage customer communications, prepare packing lists and invoices, and help produce weekly reports.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar logistics role.
• GCSE Maths and English Language at Grade 4 (C) or above.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor shared Logistics inbox and respond to customer enquiries.
• Generate packing lists and commercial invoices for customers and freight forwarders.
• Handle incoming/outgoing telephone calls professionally.
• Obtain freight quotations for customer enquiries and live orders.
• Arrange collections for export shipments.
• Provide delivery updates to customers in liaison with Production.
• Produce weekly customer reports when required.
• Coordinate container collections as needed.
• Support the wider Logistics team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
