Job summary

Hales Group in Southwold, Suffolk is seeking an Export & Commercial Coordinator to join a busy team. The role supports export operations and commercial activities across the UK and overseas.

The ideal candidate is organised, customer-focused and has experience in administration, customer service, sales support or logistics, with an interest in export and supply chain. A structured, collaborative working environment is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in administration, customer service, sales support, logistics or commercial operations.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficiency with business systems such as CRM/ERP.

Responsibilities

• Manage export orders from receipt through to delivery.
• Prepare and maintain export documentation and shipping paperwork.
• Liaise with customers, distributors, transport providers and logistics partners.
• Coordinate customer deliveries and collections.
• Process customer orders accurately through various ordering channels.
• Support key customers with enquiries, delivery updates and order administration.
• Maintain accurate customer records within CRM and ERP systems.
• Support stock allocation and product availability planning.
• Assist with forecasting activities to support customer demand.
• Monitor and process EDI orders and resolve issues.
• Handle customer queries, requests and credit applications.
• Work with internal sales and transport teams to ensure service levels.
• Support compliance with export procedures and international trade requirements.
