Job summary

Streamline Search is seeking an Export Coordinator on behalf of a client to oversee the complete export process from bookings and documentation to customs, coordinating with customers, carriers, and overseas agents to ensure timely shipments.

The role involves managing airfreight and seafreight exports, preparing exports and related documentation, and ensuring accurate declaration compliance with country-specific requirements. A SME environment experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in export operations in a SME environment.
• Experience handling airfreight and seafreight exports.
• Experience completing customs declarations.
• Strong understanding of export documentation and country-specific requirements.
• Working knowledge of CNS and Destin8 systems.
• High level of attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong team player with a proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage export shipments across airfreight and seafreight operations.
• Communicate with customers, hauliers, carriers, and overseas agents.
• Arrange bookings with shipping lines and airlines.
• Coordinate collections, ensuring vessel and flight deadlines are met.
• Complete export customs declarations and associated documentation.
• Prepare export documentation, manifests, and certificates of origin where required.
• Liaise with warehouses to confirm screening and check weighing have been completed.
• Finalise documentation and confirm vessels and flights have been met.
• Issue invoices and send pre-alerts to overseas agents.
• Follow up post-delivery to ensure customer satisfaction and identify further opportunities.
