Job Opportunity: Export Clerk

Join our team as an Export Clerk in Colnbrook, where you'll manage time-critical shipments globally. This role involves handling air and road shipments, preparing documentation, and coordinating with airlines and customs.

Details:

• Location: Colnbrook
• Hours: 7-7 (Day or Night shifts available)
• Shifts: 4 on / 4 off
• Salary: Days £36-38,000 / Nights £38-40,000

Responsibilities:

1. Handling AOG / time-sensitive air and road shipments
2. Communicating with customers via phone and email
3. Preparing export documentation (HAWB/MAWB, customs, security, airline liaison)
4. Ensuring compliance with IATA & airline regulations
5. Arranging pre-alerts, post-flight updates, and quotations
6. Coordinating Crosstrade movements

Requirements:

1. Experience with AOG exports or freight forwarding
2. Knowledge of aerospace/aircraft parts shipping
3. Calm under pressure with excellent customer service skills
4. Computer literate and self-sufficient
5. Car driver (due to location)
6. Flexibility to cover holidays on opposite shifts if needed

Nice to Have:

• GCSEs / A Levels
• Multi-lingual skills
• Forklift License
• Minimum Security Cargo Operator trained
