Job summary

UPS is seeking an Export Airfreight Clerk to manage airfreight exports from customer booking to final departure. You will coordinate with customers, airlines, overseas agents, and internal teams to ensure accurate processing and timely delivery.

The role emphasizes organization, attention to detail, and proactive problem solving in a busy freight environment. Prior airfreight experience is preferred, with strong IT and communication skills expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in freight forwarding or logistics, preferably export.
• Strong knowledge of airfreight export procedures.
• Excellent organizational skills with multiple shipments.

Responsibilities

• Manage airfreight export shipments from booking through to completion.
• Receive and process customer shipping instructions.
• Book shipments with airlines and handling agents.
• Arrange collections and transport to airports and facilities.
• Prepare and process export documentation accurately and on time.
• Complete customs export declarations where required.
• Ensure shipments comply with customs, aviation security and dangerous goods rules.
• Prepare AWBs and other shipping docs.
• Coordinate with airlines on bookings and schedules.
• Provide customers with shipment updates and handle queries.
