Job summary

Right Now Group is recruiting an experienced Air Export Clerk to join a growing international eCommerce & Courier Freight Forwarder based in Sunbury. You will own international air freight shipments from start to finish, coordinating export shipments, customs documentation, airline bookings and overseas communications to ensure freight moves efficiently across a global network.

Qualifications

• Previous air export experience within a freight forwarding environment.
• Experience managing air export shipments from start to finish.
• Strong knowledge of export customs procedures and air freight documentation.
• Experience completing export customs entries and arranging airline bookings.
• Excellent communication, organisational and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage international air export shipments from booking through to final departure.
• Complete export customs entries and prepare documentation including MAWBs, HAWBs, commercial invoices and customs declarations.
• Issue pre-alerts and relevant shipping documentation to overseas agents to support the onward movement of shipments.
• Liaise with airlines, transport providers, warehouse teams, overseas agents and customers to coordinate export movements.
• Monitor live shipments, resolve operational issues and provide customers with regular updates.
• Ensure export activities comply with HMRC regulations, aviation security requirements and company procedures.

Air Export Clerk

Right Now Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Air Export Clerk to join a growing international eCommerce & Courier Freight Forwarder based in Sunbury.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, close-knit export team, taking ownership of international air freight shipments from start to finish. Working within a fast-paced operation, you'll coordinate export shipments, customs documentation, airline bookings and overseas communications to ensure freight moves efficiently across a global network.

The business specialises in eCommerce and courier freight, handling high volumes of time-critical shipments to destinations including the USA, Singapore and worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage international air export shipments from booking through to final departure.
• Complete export customs entries and prepare documentation including MAWBs, HAWBs, commercial invoices and customs declarations.
• Issue pre-alerts and relevant shipping documentation to overseas agents to support the onward movement of shipments.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary between £35,000 - £42,000, depending on experience.
• Based in Sunbury.
• Monday to Friday, 15:30 - 00:00.
