Job summary

Unsworth is seeking an experienced Airfreight Coordinator to join our export airfreight team in a hybrid role based in Staines. You will own shipments from booking through to departure, ensuring accurate, efficient handling and strong customer relationships.

You will work with customers, airlines, hauliers and overseas partners, using CargoWise, Pathway and WebCargo to provide proactive service, quotations and compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing export airfreight shipments from start to finish.
• Knowledge of export airfreight operations, documentation and customs requirements.
• Experience using CargoWise for operations and customs entries and WebCargo for airfreight quotations.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a proactive approach to keeping customers informed.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities.
• A proactive problem solver who takes ownership and works collaboratively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage export airfreight shipments end-to-end, including bookings and deliveries.
• Prepare and check export documentation, including HAWBs and MAWBs.
• Monitor shipments and cut-offs, resolving issues and informing customers.
• Maintain accurate CargoWise data to support Pathway visibility.
• Prepare competitive airfreight quotations using WebCargo and follow up opportunities.
• Complete shipment costing and billing accurately and on time.
