Job summary

Flourish Education is seeking an experienced Early Years Practitioner for a long-term, full-time role at a First School in Evesham. The position starts ASAP and continues until July 2027, joining the Early Years team to support pre-school children and create a safe, nurturing learning environment.

You will help develop communication, social, emotional and early literacy skills through play-based activities, with safeguarding as a priority and a DBS check required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an Early Years or pre-school setting.
• Experience working with children aged 3–5 is highly desirable.
• A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of play-based learning and safeguarding.
• Nurturing, patient and caring approach with children.

Responsibilities

• Support pre-school children learning and development.
• Provide high-quality care within the Early Years setting.
• Plan and run engaging age-appropriate activities.
• Encourage learning through play, exploration and practical activities.
• Support children's communication, language and early literacy development.
• Support early numeracy through play and structured activities.
• Foster social and emotional skills and positive relationships.
• Maintain a safe, stimulating learning environment.
