Job summary

Thrive Education is partnering with a friendly pre-school in Churchdown to recruit an Early Years Practitioner for a permanent role. You’ll join a supportive team in a recently refurbished setting, focusing on creating a safe, nurturing environment for young children.

Key duties include supporting learning through play, observing development, building strong relationships with children and families, and collaborating with colleagues to deliver planned activities.

Qualifications

• Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification – Level 3 desirable
• Has previous experience working within a nursery, pre-school or Early Years setting
• Is reliable, caring and confident working as part of a team
• Has a genuine passion for supporting young children's development
• Is looking for a permanent position where they can settle into a setting and become part of the team

Responsibilities

• Supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing through play and planned activities
• Creating a safe, engaging and nurturing environment
• Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• Supporting observations and children's individual development
• Working closely with the wider pre-school team
• Bringing plenty of enthusiasm, patience and positivity to the setting!
