Job summary

Flourish Education in Wychbold is seeking an Early Years Assistant to join a First School preschool. You will support play-led learning, help children develop confidence, communication and early learning skills, and assist with indoor and outdoor activities.

This full-time role runs 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, starting as soon as possible on a long-term basis until July 2027. A DBS (Update Service) or recent check and two strong references are required, with a caring, patient approach essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with children in EYFS/nursery/preschool/First School.
• Understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
• Confident with play-led learning and child-initiated activities.
• Experience supporting learning, development and behaviour.
• Confident in indoor and outdoor learning and play.
• Caring, patient, enthusiastic about young children.
• Able to work with the class teacher/room leader.
• DBS registered on Update Service or issued within the last 12 months.
• Two excellent references.
• Recent UK school or EYFS-based experience.

• Support the Early Years team with play-led learning.
• Assist in developing children's confidence, independence and early skills.
