Job summary

Flourish Education are recruiting a full-time Nursery Teacher for a welcoming primary school in Gloucester. The role starts next term and runs until July 2027, with potential extension from September. You will lead the Pre-school class, planning, delivering creative lessons and tracking progress within the EYFS framework.

Qualifications

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is required.
• Experience teaching within EYFS, Reception or KS1.
• Ability to plan, assess and deliver engaging EYFS lessons.
• DBS check on Update Service or issued within the last 12 months.
• Minimum of two excellent references.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the Nursery class, including planning, teaching, assessment and phonics interventions.
• Deliver high-quality lessons in line with the Early Years curriculum.
• Track progress, complete observations and support children's development.
• Collaborate with Teaching Assistants and the wider Early Years team.
