Choice Care is expanding in Blackburn with Darwen and seeks caring individuals to join our team. You must have experience in adult social care, own a car, and be ready for regular scheduled shifts in the local area. You will help clients live independently with dignity and safety.
Excellent written and spoken English is essential to record daily care, understand care plans and manage risk assessments. Training is provided, with progression to NVQ Level 2/3 as you advance.

Your written and spoken English must be excellent as you will make daily care records, administer medication and need to fully understand care plans and risk assessments.
You need to be a driver with a car and available to work alternate weekends as well as during the week.

We are a Preferred Provider for Blackburn and Lancashire Social Services and also provide care for the NHS/CCG as well as private clients. We are a family business and have been providing care in the area for over 25 years.
With a starting hourly rate of £12.75 per hour, your training will be completed in our training room.
Once you complete your probationary period you start your Level 2 or 3 NVQ qualification and when you achieve that your pay goes up to £13.10
If you already hold your NVQ level 2 or higher in Health & Social care, or once you achieve this your pay goes up to £13.50
