Job summary

ICare Group is seeking Home Care Workers to support clients in Darwen (BB3) and surrounding areas. Driver required with access to own vehicle; caring, compassionate individuals wanted for community-based home care roles.

Roles include personal care, daily task support and companionship, with comprehensive training and ongoing development provided. Flexible hours and rewarding work in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.
• Be able to travel throughout the Darwen area (BB3).
• Willing to obtain Class 1 Business Insurance if not already in place.

What Will You Be Doing?

As a Home Care Worker, you'll support people in their own homes, helping them remain independent while maintaining their dignity, wellbeing and quality of life. No two days are the same, but your role may include:

• Providing personal care with dignity, respect and compassion
• Supporting with washing, dressing and daily routines
• Assisting with meal preparation and nutrition
• Providing medication prompts and support in line with care plans
• Carrying out wellbeing and safety checks
• Supporting with light household tasks and maintaining a comfortable home environment
• Offering companionship and emotional support
• Building positive and professional relationships with the people you support
• Promoting independence, choice and person-centred care
• Working as part of a supportive and dedicated care team
• Travelling between clients' homes across the Darwen community
