Job summary

ICare Group is recruiting Home Care Workers to support people at home in Blackburn (BB1 & BB2). A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required, with travel across the Blackburn area. Earn £13.45–£13.70 per hour with paid mileage and a £125 welcome bonus.

Flexible hours (7am–10pm, Mon–Sun) and full induction with ongoing development are provided to help you succeed in this rewarding role.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Have access to your own vehicle.
• Be able to travel throughout the Blackburn (BB1 & BB2) area.
• Be willing to obtain Class 1 Business Insurance if not already in place.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care with dignity, respect and compassion.
• Supporting with washing, dressing and daily routines.
• Assisting with meal preparation and nutrition.
• Providing medication prompts and support in line with care plans.
• Carrying out wellbeing and safety checks.

• Building positive and professional relationships with the people you support.

What Will You Be Doing?

As a Home Care Worker, you'll support people in their own homes, helping them remain independent while maintaining their dignity, wellbeing and quality of life.

No two days are the same, but your role may include:
