Job summary

Reed in Partnership in Cambridge is seeking a Test Centre Associate to invigilate exams and ensure secure, timely delivery of tests within the DVSA programme. You will verify candidate IDs, check-in, maintain test integrity, and assist with queries while adhering to policy.

The role offers flexible shifts (part-time or occasional), with evening and weekend work possible, and a focus on excellent customer service in a busy centre.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence (driving not required for all locations).
• Significant demonstrable experience in providing high-quality customer service.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure to short timescales and multitask.
• Experience with diverse customer groups.
• Excellent judgment and decision-making skills.
• Flexible hours including evenings and Saturdays.
• Able to stay calm with confrontational candidates.

Responsibilities

• Provide invigilation of exams and delivery of tests.
• Check candidates' ID documents and book them in on the system.
• Ensure test integrity and security throughout testing.
• Supervise tests and manage test centre procedures.
• Explain test process and assist with queries from candidates.
• Review tests and test centre scheduling.
• Open and close test centre procedures.
• Support candidate needs under Equality Act and inclusion policy.
• Report incidents that could impact testing.
