Job summary

Reed in Partnership Lincoln is seeking a Test Centre Associate to invigilate exams and efficiently deliver tests for the DVSA programme. You will ensure test integrity, verify candidate IDs, and support in day-to-day centre operations.

The role offers flexible shifts (including evenings and Saturdays) with potential for additional hours, as part of a safeguarding and inclusive testing environment.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required; driving not always needed but advantageous.
• Significant demonstrable experience delivering high-quality customer service.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure to tight timescales and multitask.
• Experience working with diverse customer groups.
• Good judgement and decision-making skills.
• Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and Saturdays.
• Ability to stay calm around confrontational candidates.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service.
• Check candidates' ID documents and book them in on the system.
• Ensure integrity and security of tests are maintained.
• Supervise and invigilate tests.
• Explain test processes and answer queries from candidates.
• Review tests and test centre schedule.
• Carry out daily opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure accessibility per Equality Act and inclusion policy.
• Report incidents impacting testing.
