Job summary

Adecco is recruiting an Evidence Purge Assistant to support Thames Valley Police Force in Maidenhead. The role focuses on safe disposal of property, meticulous record-keeping, and providing responsive customer service across enquiries and audits.

The position is temporary, 37 hours per week, with a standard 08:00-16:00 schedule and occasional evenings/weekends. A full UK driving licence is essential due to travel between locations.

Qualifications

• GCSE level or equivalent with strong literacy and numeracy.
• Excellent attention to detail and listening skills.
• Ability to manage heavy workloads and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to undergo Manual Handling training.

Responsibilities

• Disposal of property in line with Evidence Management policies.
• Maintain accurate records and issue transfer sheets for audits.
• Handle telephone and in-person enquiries to maintain service levels.
• Collect evidence from various locations using a provided vehicle.
