Adecco are recruiting for a PIP 2 Investigator (Serious and Complex Crime) to work with Thames Valley Police in Aylesbury. The role is temporary, full-time (37 hours per week), with an hourly rate of £21.63 and needs a full UK driving licence.

As part of a mixed economy team of police officers and support staff, you will manage investigations into serious offences, deliver victim-centred support, and prepare prosecution files. Flexibility and occasional out-of-hours work may be required.

Qualifikationen

• PIP 1 accreditation essential.
• Commitment to NIE pass within two attempts.

Aufgaben

• Plan, coordinate and undertake investigations using advanced techniques to detect and reduce crime.
• Interview suspects and witnesses to gather evidence and identify further investigative opportunities.
• Prioritise and analyse intelligence and evidence with forensic techniques to optimise outcomes.
• Deliver a victim-centred service with ongoing support for victims during investigations.
• Create and submit high-quality prosecution files within timescales and guidelines.
• Process digital evidence (e.g., mobile devices, CCTV) to meet court standards.
• Attend court hearings to provide evidence for the prosecution team.
• Collaborate with partner agencies to safeguard vulnerable victims and develop multi-agency strategies.
