Job summary

Everybody Activator - Casual at Knutsford Leisure Centre is seeking enthusiastic activators to lead activities for young people in a safe, friendly environment. The role focuses on Walking Netball & Walking Football, with relevant sports qualifications preferred and a DBS check required.

You will deliver a range of inclusive activities, supervise groups, and help participants have fun while staying active. The position is paid at £13.70 per hour with casual hours, mainly evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising groups of young people is desirable.
• Sport-related coaching or activity delivery experience is preferred.

Do you like working as part of a team? Do you enjoy helping others have fun playing sports or taking part in activities?

Come and join us! We are looking for enthusiastic, fun activators to help us ensure young people have fun in a safe, friendly environment.

Our Activators provide fun and safe location for young people to come and relax and make friends. You must be able to deliver a variety of games, sports and challenges making great memories for people.

We are looking for Adult Participation Activators - with a focus towards Walking Netball & Walking Football. Relevent Sports Qualification Required.

TheActivators provide a range of inclusive activities for all to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle. This role will be supporting and caring for people and will involve the setting up and delivering of various sports & activities ensuring that the individuals participating are active and enjoying themselves.

Preferably with experience of supervising groups of young people with a variety of abilities and potentially additional needs, or hold a sports coaching qualification. You must have strong communication skills, coupled with good planning and organisational skills. You will be self-motivated and have the ability to motivate others.

Location: Knutsford Leisure Centre

Salary: £13.70 per hour

Hours: Casual

Activator will mainly be evenings and weekends.
