Job summary

Everybody Health & Leisure is seeking a Duty Manager at Holmes Chapel Leisure Centre to oversee daily operations on a part-time basis. You will lead a small team during weekend shifts, ensuring safe, welcoming and high-quality visitor experiences.

The role emphasizes health and safety, incident management, and effective bookings and financial processes, with progression through a three-point grading structure and annual reviews.

Join our team as a Duty Manager!

We’re looking for a Duty Manager to support the smooth, safe, and effective operation of our leisure centre. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, confident in leading a team, and committed to delivering a high‑quality experience for all visitors.

What The Role Involves

• Overseeing day‑to‑day operations to ensure services run efficiently
• Leading the team on shift and supporting a positive, customer‑focused working environment
• Taking responsibility for health and safety, customer care, and incident management
• Managing bookings, supporting financial processes, and ensuring compliance with centre procedures
• Contributing to external accreditations such as Quest and Investors in People
• Completing site‑specific checks and maintaining high operational standards across all areas

What we’re looking for

• Experience in a customer‑facing or operational role

• Confidence in leading a team and making decisions
• A proactive approach to maintaining safety and service standards

Salary: £26,761.40 per annum pro rata

Contracted roles follow a three point grading structure, with the opportunity to advance annually through the PDR (Performance and Development Review) process.

Location : Holmes Chapel Lesiure Centre

Hours: Average 6.33* per week - Total 17 Hours (over 3 weeks)

• This role is for working one full weekend (17 hours) within a three week Rota equating to an average of 6.33 per week.

Rota

• Saturday - 08:45am - 17:15pm
• Sunday - 08:45am - 17:15pm
